I spent some time this week surfing around other sites that cover this topic to see what people were saying. I added links to the better ones to our t-link blog.

Trying to get a sense of what the current thoughts are on this idea. I visited a couple of decent forums 2012forum and Terminus Reality. Both are very active with good discussions going on.

One site I thought was particularly interesting was the great escape blog. The chronicles some idea from a group who are studying what is going on in the world and decide to unplug and make there way away from "the matrix". Great observations.. interesting process. Feels like few million other are or soon will want to join them.

I hope they find a place that can become a source for the new world to emerge. But there may be more to it.

It reminds of one part of the Conversations with John

A great deal of glamor, speculation, drama, fear, and titillation surrounds the interest that many people have in predictions of the future, particularly those that foretell of war or destruction. Often, in the back of their minds, there is a sense that these events will happen out there and not to them, or else they wish to know so that they amy find a place of safety. Yes, I can say with confidence that there is no place anyone can go in the world where he or she can be safe. The dangers and challenges are not physical. Where can you go to be free from the inner cry of humanity for help and solace. Where can you go that the psychic toxins of fear and hopelessness can not reach you. In truth, there is only one place and that is alignment with God and Spirit. This alignment is with a force that does not try to avoid these poisons of the psyche, but embraces them, heals them, and reaches out to care and share itself. It is an alignment with the presence of peace, born of each person's efforts to give him or herself in service to each other and to the world.
